Our Water Management service focusses simply on reducing water costs and associated spend for your business. BCR-ECS works with water audit and rebate specialists, together with independent water supply partners across the UK, to offer the best and most suitable supply chain options to achieve significant financial returns for our clients.
How the water audit works
Stage 1 – Desktop survey
We will conduct a ‘no cost, no obligation’ survey, which is carried out remotely, to assess any potential savings. At this stage historical usage is reviewed to ensure that the correct meterage/charges are valid for your supply and comparisons made against your industry average to highlight any anomalies.
Stage 2 – Site survey
Once potential savings have been identified, an engineer will visit your site(s) to identify leaks. Any problems are rectified quickly and efficiently by civil works engineers. At this point a feasibility study can also be undertaken to see if rainwater harvesting or bore hole technology could benefit your business.
Stage 3 – Final report
You will be sent a full report of our findings, which will highlight immediate savings to be made and any refund issues. It will also suggest options to increase your company’s water sustainability, for which your BCR-ECS Energy Consultant will provide you the relevant proposals. The cost of works will be funded purely through the savings your business makes and any rebates will also be given at this stage.
We are also able to offer your business cost savings advice on:
- Automated meter readings
- Rainwater harvesting
- Greywater recycling
- ECA tax relief for water recycling equipment
- Trade effluent consents
- Bore hole feasibility
